The detection system is set well above the working temperature of the kitchen cooking appliances and suppression is via a wet chemical agent that reacts with heat and cooking grease, a process called saponification, to form a protective layer that starves a fire of oxygen.
The wet chemical agent is nontoxic and can be easily and quickly removed following activation, allowing continuity of the business.
