Our 2021 Movement for Good Awards
- Phase 1 now complete – 500 charities have received £1,000.
- Now open: Phase 2 – We are awarding 30 charities a share of £500,000. Grants of £10,000, £50,000 and £100,000 to be awarded.
How to apply
Our second phase of giving is open to eligible charities registered in the UK and Republic of Ireland with an income of less than £5m. To complement the breadth of causes supported by our £1,000 donations, we want our larger grants to go to charities supporting some very specific themes, which are:
- Education and skills;
- Rural or community development;
- Arts, culture or heritage;
- Climate change or environment;
- Human rights or equality

What we're looking for
We are looking for specific projects or innovative initiatives with clear outcomes and benefits. Please see the table below for a detailed indication prior to submitting your application:
It is never too soon to start preparing your application. To ensure you are in with a good chance of being shortlisted, be sure to read our application guide, containing useful information about the assessment criteria and how each application will be scored.
Our phase two awards open on Monday 12 July 2021 and close on Friday 6 August 2021 – giving you plenty of time to create a great project submission. For more information and to see whether your charity is eligible to apply, please read our terms and conditions.
Remember – charities who were nominated or won any of the £1,000 donations can still apply for our second phase of giving.
