Underwriting Admin Support

About The Role

The role holder will deliver exceptional customer service acting as part of an underwriting team, supporting Ecclesiastical Ireland’s ambitions for profitable growth & “right first time” approach to customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in renewal, new business and mid term adjustment processing in line with current processes and underwriting strategy and guidelines, including underwriting of fast track renewals and household / personal lines and schemes policies
  • Perform other admin duties to include but not limited to – switchboard, photocopying, scanning and lodging cheques, following up on survey requirements, post duties, visitor management, catering requests and travel
  • Input data accurately and efficiently, recognising and rectifying where quality standards have been missed
  • Plan, prioritise and manage own work to deliver agreed objectives and meet SLAs 
  • Identify issues and anomalies and escalate in line with company policy
  • Act on audit results and agreed actions plans to improve own performance and enhance the effectiveness of the team
  • Build effective internal relationships to deliver exceptional customer service and support Ecclesiastical’s right first time approach

Requirement & Qualifications

  • Leaving Certificate or equivalent
  • Minimum APA Qualified (essential)
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Appropriate IT skills (will be tested)
  • Customer service experience
