Underwriting Admin Support

About The Role
The role holder will deliver exceptional customer service acting as part of an underwriting team, supporting Ecclesiastical Ireland’s ambitions for profitable growth & “right first time” approach to customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in renewal, new business and mid term adjustment processing in line with current processes and underwriting strategy and guidelines, including underwriting of fast track renewals and household / personal lines and schemes policies
- Perform other admin duties to include but not limited to – switchboard, photocopying, scanning and lodging cheques, following up on survey requirements, post duties, visitor management, catering requests and travel
- Input data accurately and efficiently, recognising and rectifying where quality standards have been missed
- Plan, prioritise and manage own work to deliver agreed objectives and meet SLAs
- Identify issues and anomalies and escalate in line with company policy
- Act on audit results and agreed actions plans to improve own performance and enhance the effectiveness of the team
- Build effective internal relationships to deliver exceptional customer service and support Ecclesiastical’s right first time approach
Requirement & Qualifications
- Leaving Certificate or equivalent
- Minimum APA Qualified (essential)
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Appropriate IT skills (will be tested)
- Customer service experience
